LANGWARRIN v FRANKSTON ROVERS

3:6:24 v 13:8:86

A disappointing result in our worst performance for several seasons. Rovers took the initiative early, scoring well against the wind and then taking advantage of it in the second, to have a good lead at half time. We had put ourselves in the situation where we were going to have to make the most of our opportunities in the third, to stay in the game. Unfortunately, we were unable to make up any leeway, and allowed Rovers to go away with the game in the last quarter.

We must look at this game, now we know what we are up against, learn from our weaknesses and adapt ourselves to become a more team-oriented combination. Lets work at it boys. We now have an aim that is achievable if you want it!
